The Savannah Bananas, baseball’s high-energy traveling sensation, will make their return to Busch Stadium in 2026 for two games as part of their Banana Ball World Tour.
The team announced Thursday that the St. Louis stop is scheduled for **August 21–22, 2026**, with the Bananas set to face off against the **Loco Beach Coconuts**, one of two new additions to the Banana Ball Championship League — the other being the **Indianapolis Clowns**.
Banana Ball, the team’s entertaining twist on traditional baseball, comes with unconventional rules: games last no longer than two hours, there are no walks, bunting is an automatic out, and runs are replaced by points. Fans might even see a “Golden Batter,” who can hit at any moment, or a lucky spectator challenging an umpire’s call on the field.

The Bananas’ popularity continues to soar. For their 2025 appearance in St. Louis, over **160,000 fans** entered the ticket lottery in just three days. To make tickets more accessible, the team uses a **lottery system** and keeps prices fixed — starting at **$40**, with free admission for children under 3. Fans can register at **bananaball.com/tickets** by **October 31** for a chance to buy up to five tickets.
The 2025 tour sold out every game, drawing more than **2 million fans** across **40 cities**. In 2026, the tour will expand to **75 venues** — including 14 MLB ballparks and 10 football stadiums — with the goal of reaching over **3 million live fans**.
The upcoming Busch Stadium visit will also mark a special return for **Noah Niznik**, an Imperial native and former Southeast Missouri pitcher who joined the Bananas after a tryout and earned **Rookie of the Year honors in 2024**.
Originally launched as a summer college team, the Bananas fully transitioned to **Banana Ball** in 2022. Their league now includes six teams — the Bananas, Party Animals, Firefighters, Texas Tailgaters, and newcomers Coconuts and Clowns — all helping to spread the team’s unique, fan-first brand of baseball entertainment.
