Recruiting Update: Missouri Bolsters Offensive Line With Massive Addition of Versatile 2026 Prospect
Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz continues to beef up the trenches as the Tigers land another promising lineman for their 2026 recruiting class. A highly touted interior offensive lineman from Georgia officially committed to Mizzou on June 29, choosing the Tigers over notable SEC competitors like Tennessee and North Carolina.
Standing at over 6-foot-4 and weighing more than 320 pounds, the Georgia native becomes one of the biggest physical additions to Mizzou’s class—both literally and figuratively. His junior season performance helped North Cobb High School finish the regular season undefeated before a second-round playoff exit.
Though he initially planned to announce his commitment earlier in the year, he delayed that decision, during which Tennessee was viewed as the frontrunner. However, the Tigers made a late push and now find themselves with one of the more promising linemen in the 2026 class.
He joins a growing group of offensive prospects already pledged to Mizzou, including quarterback Gavin Sidwar, receivers Jabari Brady and Devyon Hill-Lomax, running back Maxwell Warner, and fellow offensive linemen Khalief Canty and Braylon Ellison.
With several current linemen either graduating or eyeing the NFL Draft, there will be a major reshuffle up front in 2026—creating a potential early opportunity for the Georgia product to contribute. Given Missouri’s recent success in developing offensive line talent, the new commit could be poised to make his mark early, provided he proves himself against tough competition in the coming seasons.
While Missouri’s 2026 class currently ranks toward the bottom of the SEC with just 10 commitments, the Tigers have made significant gains through the transfer portal. The trio of Anderson, Canty, and Ellison could anchor what becomes a position of strength in this cycle.
